Luis grew up in Mexico and reminisced about his years of school uniforms while I photographed him carefully preparing for the ceremony. Carolina was a perfect vision of beauty and grace all morning. Her flawless makeup by Wowpretty, and cheerful yet grand bouquet made sure that nobody could take their eyes off the bride. Luis didn’t get a peek until she walked down the aisle towards him, and once together, they didn’t leave each others’ sides for the rest of the day. Carolina and Luis lucked out with a gorgeous day in San Francisco for their wedding ceremony and portraits. Their ceremony was held at St. Kevin Catholic Church in Bernal Heights and we chose Bernal Hill for bride & groom photos because the couple likes to jog there on weekends. Coincidentally, their ceremony ended just as the Blue Angels began their much anticipated Fleet Week performance. Although we had to do battle with some major traffic and crowds of spectators on Bernal Hill, it was a great time and an unforgettable Saturday in the city. The couple drove from San Francisco to Napa in style, having rented a shiny black classic car and chauffeur. The videographer caught a ride with us and we drove Northward over the Golden Gate towards Napa. Traditional mariachi music serenaded us upon arrival at the Napa Valley Country Club. The sun was already beginning to sink low into the sky so Mischa commandeered a golf cart and whisked the bride and groom away to a secluded spot with champagne and the warm romantic glow of their first sunset together as husband and wife. They returned with plenty of time to capture a few bridal party group shots and be introduced together to their awaiting reception. The music began again, and the stars came out just in time for a feast of traditional Birria.
We hope you enjoy the slideshow version of Carolina & Luis’ wedding album. They chose a 10×10 viva album, a “flush-mount” design. The cover is a full image “wraparound” design. Carolina & Luis decided to use their “how we met” story as part of the back cover design.
